Runway 7 Makes a Bold Return to NYFW with Its Most International Designer Roster Ever

New York, NY – August 2, 2025 Runway 7, the award-winning fashion production platform, returns to Sony Hall this September for its ninth season at New York Fashion Week (NYFW). From September 9–14, 2025, over 130 designers representing 20+ countries will present across multiple fashion categories including couture, sustainability, streetwear, ready-to-wear, resort and accessories.

A special evening event Tuesday, September 9, presented by Elysian Magazine, focusing on animal rescue and awareness. The evening includes a screening of the Elysian documentary, live appearances by celebrity advocates and tributes to NYC-based animal welfare organizations.

Runway 7’s first official day kicks off on Wednesday, September 10, with three consecutive streetwear showcases from over 35 designers across Argentina, France, Africa, Chile, Portugal and the U.S.. Labels such as The Lost Generation, Roughplay, MannMade Athleisure and Von Olivier will kick off the day. The evening shows will shift into a more elevated ready-to-wear aesthetic, with couture-infused looks and sustainable design from Paso Colorado, Mun Designs, MSFL, Soul by Ame, PMP NY, Mara Victoria, Luxe Living Fashions and Smaranika Sarangi.

On Thursday, September 11, showcases span a broad mix of aesthetics including: contemporary ready-to-wear from Rojita Gis, Lemini Brand, and Kenn Kozz; Latin American streetwear by TKYOBA, Enflame, and Indifferent Streetwear; couture and avant-garde from Fear Free and Bea Barreau; sustainable evening wear by Love, Riley and Juliana Paz; and resort/boho looks by Kelpie Swim and ALMAMI. Highlights also include conceptual work from Rakee Chen x LiberLive, prêt-à-porter by Bolivian designer Eanian478 and bold accessories by Giovan Luna México.

Friday morning, September 12, will open with standout streetwear collections from Beyond Streetwear, 9MM, Deserve Urban, and Vieg Yuro. Beginning at 1:00 p.m., the focus will shift to swimwear, featuring Sub Real and Costa Rican label ADN506 Swimwear by Mynell Chacón, whose collection draws inspiration from the tropical landscapes of Central America.

Throughout the week, high-profile designers will present their newest collections. On Friday, September 12 at 9 p.m., Actively Black—founded by former NBA player Lanny Smith—returns with a bold luxury streetwear presentation. The brand, known for its community impact, has released previous collections in collaboration with Black Panther and Mufasa movies.

Saturday, September 13th will offer one of the most diverse showdays of the season at Runway 7. The day will feature multiple category brands and clothes with the third edition of its acclaimed philanthropic initiative Project Lab Coat—a runway experience dedicated to raising awareness and funds for chronic illnesses. This year’s edition centers on Lyme disease and is supported for the first time by the three largest Lyme-focused organizations in the U.S.: Global Lyme Alliance, LymeLight Foundation and Project Lyme. Known for its authentic and emotional presentations, Project Lab Coat shifts the spotlight from celebrity to community, combining fashion with purpose. Tickets are available at projectlabcoat.com.

Also featured in this evening block is THDR x Neuono, an Australian tailoring brand blending menswear and womenswear with artificial intelligence in both design and construction, showcasing a bold new intersection of fashion and technology. CHICK will feature its New York City-based women’s streetwear collection and acclaimed designer Ren Haixi will unveil her latest

collection, The Wild West Reimagined. A Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree and one of today’s celebrity favorites, Haixi has dressed stars like Kylie Jenner, Billie Eilish, Lisa from Blackpink, and Shakira. Known for her sustainable, zero-waste couture and poetic storytelling, her SS26 collection channels the power of the American desert with distressed fabrics, raw-edge lace, and a color palette inspired by sun-baked landscapes—offering a sensual, futuristic take on the West.

Runway 7 will close its season on Sunday, September 14, with a curated lineup of sustainable and independent labels including NF_Arte y Diseño, Sabina Bascur, MardiLove, Annie Pacious, Sánchez Depino, TannerNYC Premium Kok, and PC Paolina Cattorini. That morning, The Fashion Institute of Florida will also present a special solo show by alumna Arielle Juliette, selected through Runway 7’s partnership with Runway Muse—reinforcing their joint commitment to supporting next-gen talent through real-world platforms.

This season, New York Fashion Week celebrates a historic milestone for Latin America, with an unprecedented 25+ participating brands representing Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Bolivia, and Costa Rica. In a record-breaking moment, Argentina leads the region’s presence with 12 designers debuting on the runway, underscoring the growing global influence and creative excellence of Latin American fashion.
